At the Symposium, Boston area high school teachers heard about
cutting-edge stem
cell research from
Harvard and MIT
scientists, participated in
panel discussions
with scientists and
educators about
the challenges of
teaching stem cell
science, shared and discussed
ideas with other
teachers about
stem cell
lesson plans, and toured the
laboratories at the
Whitehead and
Broad Institutes.
