Study suggests possible treatment for neurological disorder Rett syndrome

The mouse brain samples above are stained for a key protein (green) that directly promotes nerve cell maturation.  The normal and treated Rett syndrome model cells have similar levels of this protein, whereas the untreated Rett syndrome model cells have much lower levels.
